A salute to Steve Shaw for a 26-year run that ended this past season as El Camino College women's basketball head coach. Shaw directed 5 South Coast Conference championship teams, 3 in a row from 2017-2019. He served as a vital member of the CCCWBCA. @SouthCoastConf1


The OCC Athletics family was saddened with the news that former longtime women's basketball coach, Mike Thornton, passed away on Sunday night due to complications brought by dementia. He was 77 years old. @orangecoast @occwbb @3C2Asports
Jerry Hannula a double honoree in the 3C2A..he was a famous SID at Saddleback College and won the Brass Top many years ago and now he is honored by the Eligibility association (ACCCES) this year at the 3C2A Convention in Sacramento. Congrats to an all-time great. @GoSCBobcats

The CCCMBCA would like to thanks the CCCSIA once again for its great work on the scorer’s table. For some of these individuals it has been 30 years of working this state championship.

Mt. San Antonio wins its 9th state title, the most of any college, as it captures the 2025 championship.

Mt. SAC 52, Orange Coast 33, 3:03 to go. The Mounties are closing in on the state title.
Mt. SAC 45, Orange Coast 31. Ryann Riddle jumper and a fast-break basket by Aanisah Moncrief and the Mounties built it to 14 point lead.
Mt. SAC 41, Orange Coast 29, end of 3rd Quarter. The Mounties limited the Pirates to just 5 points in the third period and up the lead to 12 points.

Halftime: It's the Daisia Mitchell and Taliyah McFerson show so far as the pair have combined for 24 points and 14 rebounds to help Mt. SAC take a 6-point lead. Hailey Estrada 8 pts for OCC.
