Someone commented on my YT video saying what they [Frank Herbert] did to Paul in Messiah is an abomination (hahah). I’ve never heard anyone have an opinion like this about Paul. His arc is beautiful and tragic, did they want him to just grow old and chill on the throne?

Tickets for Christopher Nolan’s ‘THE ODYSSEY’ will go on sale on July 17. The film releases on July 17, 2026.
The Odyssey is going to complete its theatrical run with a box office of $1.1 billion. I have seen it. I think it’ll be one of the most anticipated and hyped up movies of the decade, and it will probably be VERY good so it will have great legs.

I don't think people should be thinking of Dune: Part Three as "combining" Messiah and CoD. IMO it is going to be the story of Messiah and just borrow a couple elements from CoD. But I could be wrong and maybe they are just going buck wild with the story.

Denis Villeneuve's next "Dune" movie is officially titled "Dune: Part Three," not "Dune Messiah" like Frank Hebert's 1969 book. While the movie will include sequences shot with Imax cameras, it will not be entirely shot with Imax cameras as recent reports suggest.…
IMO this is bc there will be multiple time jumps and there will be multiple wigs. Easier for production if they need to go back and film a scene from a previous era without needing to actually cut his hair
