"Insurance is a must for all", a sugar cane farmer community leader told me. He is right. @undp @uncdf & local partners offer parametric insurance that provides quick payouts when disasters strike. The scheme now exists in 7 Pacific countries with nearly 50,000 farmers enrolled.
