The Three Choirs Festival starts tomorrow in #Hereford. Proud I have a direct line to the inspiration for Three Choirs: my 6x ggrandfather was a steward in the 1730s at the Sons of Clergy Festival @StPaulsLondon. Guy's father was Jacob, Huguenot refugee minister. @HuguenotSociety
The calm exterior of @HFDCathedral hides the work going on inside for the Three Choirs which starts this weekend. You can still visit with some restrictions; the cafe serves lovely food & the Mappa Mundi & Chained Library remain fully open. Can't wait for the festival, either!
