언젠가는 정말로 로마 제국도 해체되고 야만인의 시대가 다시 오겠지만, 그게 앞으로 몇백년 뒤 별나라 SF 이야기면 무슨 상관이 있나. 지금 이 시대를 살아남는 것에만 집중해야겠다..
미국이 장기적으로 망했든 말든, 지금의 폴리시가 비적합하든 비효율적이든 말든 무슨 상관이 있는지 모르겠음. 미국이 결정해서 국제 사회가 만들어졌고 미국이 결정해서 바이얼로그의 시대로 돌아온 거임. 지금도 미국이 현실을 다시 쓸 수 있는 능력이 있음을 증명했음.

Samsung agreed to allow Tesla to assist in maximizing manufacturing efficiency. This is a critical point, as I will walk the line personally to accelerate the pace of progress. And the fab is conveniently located not far from my house 😃
시간을 돈으로 치환하는 효율 또는 그러고픈 욕망이 커질수록 쓸모없는 일을 하는 시간 비용은 더욱 크게 느껴집니다. 그럼에도 굳이 그일을 지속한다면 그게 정말 궁극의 사치가 아닐까요. 재밌는 건, 쓸모없는 걸 꾸준히 하려면 역설적으로 쓸모 있는 행위를 정말 열심히, 잘 해내야한다는 것이죠.
