BREAKING: Memphis coach Ryan Silverfield and UTSA coach Jeff Traylor were involved in an altercation earlier today. We can confirm that Silverfield received belt to ass and is now 0-3 against Traylor. The UTSA coach was heard letting Silverfield know that he is from BEAST Texas.

1. Jon Sumrall, Tulane Tulane looked like a juggernaut last yr until Sumrall rumors surfaced. It's likely he's in New Orleans for a good time, not a long time but as long as he's there he'll sit atop our rankings. He should have AAC4 Tulane contending for a playoff spot again.

2. Jeff Traylor, UTSA Rare coach who turned down a P4 poach. Very few programs have won more games than UTSA since Traylor arrived. 7-win seasons were once considered a big success at UTSA, last yr it was a letdown. That's the new standard Traylor has set at his AAC4 program.

TIL that North Texass alum Dr. Phil is not only an award winning show host but in his spare time is also an award winning North Texass beat writer for the Denton Record-Chronicle. Truly a one of a kind, distinguished alum for the Mean Green.

3. Jeff Monken, Army Coaching at Army poses unique challenges and Monken has navigated them to win at Army consistently. Winning will likely only get harder for the service academies as the NIL era ramps up, but you can never take the '24 title away from Monken's team.

What an absolute disgrace to our beloved conference 👎
News from the NCAA: Memphis is hit with two-year probation + fine for academic fraud. An academic counselor paid softball players to do coursework and/or provide test/quiz answers for men's basketball players. A 10-year show cause for the counselor: web3.ncaa.org/lsdbi/search/m…
4. K.C. Keeler, Temple East coast, Texas, DIII, FCS, FBS it doesn't matter. The man simply wins. 11 conference titles. 2 FCS national championships. The only concern with Keeler is his age but Temple hired him to beat the other coaches, not to outlive them.

I can't take a conference that makes North Texass look good seriously
LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier: "The SEC is the toughest conference in football. I don't care what anyone says"
5. Tim Albin, Charlotte Albin is coming off three consecutive 10-win seasons at Ohio that saw him win one MAC championship, two COY awards, and make two MAC championship game appearances. If anybody can revive eternal bottom feeder Charlotte it's Albin.
