Dr. P. Lynne Howell, winner of the 2025 CSMB Jeanne Manery-Fisher Memorial award. Dr. Howell is a Senior Scientist in the Program in Molecular Medicine at The Hospital for Sick Children and a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, University of Toronto.
Congratulations to Dr. Heather E. McFarlane, winner of the 2025 CSMB New Investigator award. Dr. McFarlane is Assistant Professor and Canada Research Chair in Plant Cell Biology at University of Toronto. She studies plant cell wall synthesis, secretion, signaling, and remodeling.
