There is a right and wrong in the Universe and that distinction is not hard to make. #BlackLivesMatter
"You're much stronger than you think you are" NEW SUPERMAN ANIMATION OUT NOW ⬇️ youtu.be/vsVC-Gt_gas
James Gunn not understanding plots of the simplest Superman comics and Kevin Feige saying Marvel movies never go into production without a finished script before announcing a new writer for the Avengers movie that is CURRENTLY filming. Big day for studio heads

You did not read Birthright my guy
James Gunn on whether the Jor-El and Lara twist come from the John Bryne run "Yeah. Listen, I read that when it came out. I definitely had that in my head. And isn’t it also a little bit in Birthright, too? So I did have the comic background excuse to do it".…
He looks at her like he is seeing the sun for the first time.
HER SMILE GETTING BIGGER RIGHT WHEN SHE SEES SUPERMAN GAAAH
Ticket seller: "Enjoy your movie!" Me: "Thanks, you too."

Oh how far we have come
James Gunn’s #Superman has now joined the Letterboxd One Million Watched Club 🪐 @Superman The film is now the fastest world premiere to reach one million.
Jor-El and Lara did not send Kal-El to Earth so that he can be a ruler or a hero, they were just saving their child. In spite of certain doom, they focused on doing the best thing a person can do, preserving life. That act is at the core of Superman as a character.

It's so insane to hear the runtime of that scene cause it felt much more like 3 minutes than 12. Straight up the best scene in the movie
James Gunn says the biggest risk he took in #Superman was including a 12-minute talking scene in a superhero movie. (via youtube.com/watch?v=oJogzy…)
The vision is clear
James Gunn says that Superman is very important in his next film but it’s not a direct ‘SUPERMAN’ sequel. The film will not be World’s Finest or Batman vs. Superman (Source: youtube.com/watch?v=oJogzy…)
These two have the perfect Superman and Lex dynamic. A Superman who just wants to help people and a Lex who is so obssesed with Superman you don't know if he just hates him, wants to be him or wants to be with him.

There is another really special part of this scene. Clark asking Lois what she meant when she said "this was never going to work out" and Lois can't give him an answer. Clark clearly knows what she meant and he just tells her "I love you Lois, I should have said that sooner"
Superman: I'm gonna turn myself in. Maybe they'll take me wherever they took the dog. Lois: it’s just a dog Superman: I know. And he’s not even a very good one. But he’s alone… and he’s probably scared
One thing we can all agree on, David Corenswet is a generational Superman

That 10 minute interview scene in Superman really nailed this dynamic
