We are more than health professionals. We are advocates, enablers, and change-makers who help build a fairer, healthier society. But the work doesn’t stop here 💬 Keep speaking up 📢 Keep challenging stigma 🛠️ Keep building systems that support all people, in all walks of life

Occupational Therapists also push for policies that address the root causes of poor mental health, like poverty, exclusion, and unsafe environments. COTEC stands behind OTs advocating for 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹.

Whether it's access to housing, employment, education, or meaningful activity, Occupational Therapists support people to live with dignity and purpose. This #EuropeanMentalHealthWeek, let’s celebrate Occupational Therapy as a key profession for social change and mental wellbeing

This #EuropeanMentalHealthWeek, we celebrate how we empower individuals to participate fully in 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬—because recovery is about more than treatment.

This #EuropeanMentalHealthWeek, COTEC is calling on policymakers to move beyond the biomedical approach. Mental health is shaped by poverty, inequality, education, employment—not just biology. Lasting solutions start with social justice and inclusive policies. @MentalHealthEur

This week, we stand with @MentalHealthEur to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and promote mental wellbeing.𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲! #EuropeanMentalHealthWeek

#EPHW2025: OT thrives on innovation—and so does the future of public health Young professionals bring bold ideas and energy that must be heard, trusted, empowered Let’s create space for them to lead, shape policy, and build a healthier tomorrow—for all @SPOTeurope @EUPHActs

#EPHW2025: As OTs, we know health is shaped by where people live, learn, and work—not just by clinical care. To build fairer systems, we must address the barriers that limit access, inclusion, and opportunity. Equity in health is not optional—it’s essential. @EUPHActs
