There are more ways that we can improve the TRPP for tenants in the future. This is just one step. Let's continue this work together and fight for tenants.

Absolutely gutted that council decided to strike and replace this well thought out motion.
Hi @sarahkirby_yung, Can you please clear the air on why you felt the need to kill the resolutions put forward by the Arts & Culture Advisory Committee supported by @seanorr, @PtFry, etc at Council? #VanPoli instagram.com/reel/DMeBpJDS_…
After 2 hours and 50 speakers, ABC's Sarah Kirby Yung moved an amendment to completely get rid of all the thoughtful resolutions created by the Arts & Culture Advisory Committee, and replace them with an entirely new motion that speakers and advocates have had no input on. Shame!
Vancouver Folk Fest artistic director Fiona Black explains to Council that Edmonton's folk fest receivers over 5 times more funding from its municipal govt. Imagine what we could do in Vancouver if we fully supported Arts & Culture! #vanpoli #VancouverInCommon #FundTheArts

Booze until 4 a.m.: Latest last call in Canada coming to downtown Vancouver ctvnews.ca/vancouver/arti…
Today, City Council voted to extend alcohol hours at bars and restaurants across the city. Councillor Orr moved a motion to ensure that that funding for programs like "Good Night Out" that tackle gendered violence will get a proportionate support to the new needs. It passed.

“This is not economics, this is — I don’t know what to call it" Well, I'll call it reckless and embarrassing. Public trust isn’t a game, and crypto hype isn’t a substitute for real policy that can actually end homelessness and increase affordability.
