The rightful recognition of the Palestinian state has nothing to do with Hamas. It gives credence to the three UN resolutions adopted by the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly in December 2024 for a two-state solution to bring peace in the Middle East.
US negotiator Steve Witkoff says Hamas not “acting in good faith”, “clearly shows a lack of desire to reach a ceasefire in Gaza”. Their intransigence has been hardened by unfounded international political condemnation of Israel & current campaign to exaggerate hunger in Gaza.
Hamas lie about famine in Gaza while their fat terrorists continue to try to prevent aid getting to the civilian population. Last night Hamas terrorists fired a missile from Khan Yunis towards an aid distribution site near Rafah, which missed.

My understanding is that if a retired British Army officer were found to have supported, participated in, or advocated for genocide, this would constitute sufficient reason for the Defence Council to recommend the removal of their retired rank. I assume you know this?
