Thank you Comm. Aaron Harris for leading today’s public safety walk at BenCo. After a recent shooting, we spoke with businesses, offered support, and identified issues like graffiti & dumping. Grateful to everyone who showed up—we’re in this together.

After months of work and community input, we’ve finalized the RFK Community Benefits Agreement! It’s now with the Council, Mayor, and Commanders. Huge thanks to Ward 7 residents for showing up and speaking out. Let’s keep building together.

Today, I joined DCPS and DGS for a school readiness walkthrough at Sousa Middle School to ensure our schools are prepared for the upcoming academic year. Our students and educators in Ward 7 deserve the best, and I’ll continue fighting for the investments our youth deserve!

Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to join DCPS and DGS for a school readiness walkthrough at H.D. Woodson High School. We carefully reviewed the building and identified areas that need attention before the new school year begins.

Our team took time to trade meetings for missions and enjoy some well-earned team bonding at Beat the Bomb. I’m proud to lead a group that brings focus, energy, and joy to everything we do. When we balance hard work with intentional play, we come back stronger—and ready to serve.
