Last Thursday, I visited @MARFORSOUTH & @marforres to recognize Marines for their superior performance. MARFORSOUTH is advancing key relationships with allies & partners across @Southcom while MARFORRES augments our active duty through the readiness of our reservist Marines.

Last night, @USMC & I had the honor of hosting the 29th @SecDef, The Honorable Pete Hegseth, during our Friday Evening Parade at @MBWDC. Your leadership within the @DeptofDefense ensures that our Corps remains postured as the Nation’s crisis response force—ready to fight & win.

On Wednesday, I visited & recognized some outstanding Marines at @USMARCENT. It was great to see how Marines are implementing AI tools to support targeting & intel in real-world operations across @CENTCOM. Marines are working hard every day, worldwide, to support our Joint Force.

As Commandant, there is nothing I enjoy more than visiting Marines. Thank you to the Marines & Sailors of the @22nd_MEU for hosting me. You are clearly ready to deploy and represent our Nation as a credible crisis response force, & I look forward to seeing what you accomplish.

Yesterday, I visited Capabilities Development Directorate & saw how we’re rapidly advancing Ground-Based Air Defense. From rifleman-operated systems to integrated sensors & shooters at echelon, we’re staying ahead of emerging threats & adapting to the changing character of war.

Yesterday, @USMCSgtMaj & I visited the USS Iwo Jima to observe the Marines & Sailors of @22nd_MEU preparing for deployment as America’s 911 force. The ARG/MEU team provides our nation’s leaders with flexible response options to deter, or if called upon, to defeat our adversaries.

Yesterday, I observed a combined amphibious assault during Atlantic Alliance 2025. The exercise helps the Navy–Marine Corps team and our British and Dutch allies strengthen amphibious capabilities, while giving II MEF elements access to warships and amphibious operations training

Today, I had the honor of serving as the reviewing officer for Lima Company’s graduation from Officer Candidates School. Since 1919, we have trained those who aspire to lead as Marine Officers in the foothills of @MCB_Quantico, under one standard—the Marine Corps standard.

Today, I testified alongside SECNAV Mr. Phelan & Adm. Kilby before the SAC-D, concluding my testimony for the year. My priorities remain achieving a 3.0 ARG/MEU presence, accelerating Force Design across our MAGTF, & improving the quality of life for our Marines & their families.

Yesterday and today, I testified alongside the @SECNAV and @USNavy Adm. Kilby before the SASC and HASC, advocating on behalf of our Marines for Amphibious Warships, the acceleration of Force Design, and improvements to the quality of life for our Marines and their families.

Operation Ironclad is a strategic initiative aimed to suppress complacency and strengthen discipline across the largest Marine air-ground task force in the @USMC. By reinforcing core competencies and high standards, we’re building a more combat-ready force.

Last night, @USMC & I proudly hosted the 79th @SECNAV, Hon. John Phelan, for a Friday Evening Parade @MBWDC. Thank you for your advocacy on behalf of our Marines, our Corps, & our Amphibious Warfare Ships, supporting our obligation as the Nation’s premier crisis response force.

Yesterday, I visited with congressional staffers at @MCB_Quantico for Marine Day. @USMC shares a special relationship with Congress built on trust, accountability, and shared commitment to the defense of our Nation. Thank you for your continued support and service to our Nation.

On Friday, alongside @VP @SECNAV & @USNavy ADM Kilby, I attended the @NavalAcademy graduation & administered the oath to new @USMC 2ndLts. The path ahead will be the most demanding period of your life, but it will also be the most rewarding work you will ever do: leading Marines

Today, I visited @Camp_Lejeune to see @iimefmarines @2dMarDiv & @2ndMLG. I spoke with cmdrs and senior enlisted ldrs and recognized several Marines for their superior performance. II MEF, our service-retained MEF, JTF Capable, ready to respond to conflict / crisis globally.

Last night at the Ground Awards, I announced my Rapid Response Essay Contest—a personal request from me to the FMF. I want your ideas on how to man and equip the MEU of 2035. Hosted by @MCA_Marines, the contest runs through 31 August, with cash prizes for the top three authors.
