Not feeling arty but want to make something? Why not try constructing with us this summer with our Knex and Lego sessions. We will be using Knex models with gears and pulleys, Lego models that you control with code or just a chance to get creative and build what ever you like.

We are looking forward to welcoming storytellers Robin and Liv for some interactive storytelling sessions both with characters called Jack! And Guy the Illustrator will also be back and doodling this summer, teaching us all how to make cute and deadly creatures.

We are thrilled to be working alongside fairandfunky in some Scraptastic sessions this summer. Taking inspiration from Nature's Tiny Miracle Bee and Too Much Stuff! these sessions are a chance to see recycled materials in a whole new light and unleash the creativity within.

As the holiday's approach and our term time events take a break we are mindful of the little ones who visit us regularly. To support this Brighouse Library and Central Library and Archives will be hosting some sessions aimed at 0-2 year olds, to keep the singing going.

This year's theme of the Story Garden has inspired us to get out into nature and host some storytime sessions in Manor Heath Park and Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve. So come along to experience the intertwining of nature, stories and to craft in some beautiful surroundings.
