I think we need to have a conversation about community scoreboard It's saddened me to see the dropoff in ⚾️🥎🏀🏌️🏃♂️ & other results being reported to us each summer, knowing the storied institution it's been locally I would love to see it make a comeback news-herald.com/2025/06/28/com…
FWIW from someone who's admittedly a NASCAR casual, happy to see Bubba Wallace win today at Indy to snap a 100-race winless skid Been following him for a while now & has a story that, for me, is easy to root for To win there/like that is very cool Congrats to him 👏👏

As a lifelong pro wrestling fan, I'm not sure where to even begin in processing the totality of the news that Hulk Hogan died Shocking, sad ... yes, in some facets, complicated But above all for now, condolences to his family & friends nbcnews.com/news/obituarie…
🎽 I was asked to help spread the word again about the Superhero 5K this weekend With that in mind ... news-herald.com/2025/07/22/sup…
⚽️ I'm ***NOT*** remotely "there" yet But between vacation weeks, took a swing today at compiling the NH area regular-season match schedule via Dragonfly As always, zero chance it's entirely correct for various reasons, but it should be at least close

Pardon a pro wrestling post, but what a great read by Charlotte Flair for The Players Tribune To be that publicly vulnerable/honest - particularly in an industry where it's difficult for fans to separate person vs TV character - takes courage Well done👏👏 theplayerstribune.com/charlotte-flai…
Pardon a non-NH/HS sports related post, but this is important to me ... 🇬🇧🇺🇸 🙏

On vacation this week, but wanted to pop in & mention I'm excited Cleveland is getting a WNBA franchise back in 2028 Between the popularity/exposure surge for women's 🏀, community support, ownership & infrastructure, hopeful this time will be different espn.com/wnba/story/_/i…
I've got to say: I ❤️ HS football - we all do Many people can't get enough of it year-round - so be it/more power to you if so But as a general point, it's June 25 ... & I'm already tired of hearing about 7-on-7s "Summer period" didn't/doesn't HAVE to stretch the whole summer 🤷♂️
🏈 Made a long-overdue update to all-time NH area football single-season stat leaders with total defense TL;DR: Max was set at 1200 in 00s when initially compiled, that was WAAAY too unrealistic, now 1500 If you want to check out the full leaders list ... news-herald.com/2022/12/05/new…
BTW ... we just finished up a HS sports year - & now, many sports are again doing stuff/have been in advance of the next year 🤦♂️ Putting in "necessary" work is 1 thing But how we got so far removed from letting people have an actual summer break, even 2-3 weeks, is a shame 🤷♂️
🎽 With all-stars announced, let me take a moment to say thank you, NH area, as we wrap up our 23rd season together Your interest/support makes covering this sport such a joy/blessing year in & year out With the deepest gratitude, hope to see you again next spring Take care 🙂❤️
