The Flyers win their 3rd straight CHSAA Championship with a victory over Kellenberg!

The Flyers won against St. Anthony’s today by a score of 5-1. Liam Daly notched the win with a stellar performance, surrendering just 1 hit while working into the 6th inning. Joe Chanis led the offense with two hits, including a 2-RBI single to extend the lead in the 7th.

The Flyers defeated St. John the Baptist today by a score of 11-1. Giacomo Travaglia tossed 5 innings and Evan Baschnagel notched 2 hits. Matthew Brandt had 5 RBIs on the day, including a 3-run homer.

Tom Chanis was the hero in today’s victory over Holy Trinity. His 8th inning walk off propelled the Flyers to a 3-2 win, with strong pitching performances from Matthew Brandt, Liam Daly, and John Carrol.

The Flyers win their home opener against Poly Prep by a score of 3-1! Giacomo Travaglia tossed an impressive 6 2/3 frames allowing just 1 run. Mike Cervoni led the offense, going 3-3 including a triple.

The Flyers take on Kellenberg today for the first two games of the CHSAA Championship! The first game will begin at 11, and the second will follow at 2. Both games will be played at Hofstra University.

The Flyers offense exploded for 11 runs, all coming in the bottom half of the 6th inning. JJ Gatti tossed a two hit complete game shutout, leading his boys to an 11-0 victory. The Flyers advance to the CHSAA Championship which will begin next Monday at Hofstra.
