⚠️TRAFFIC COLLISION⚠️ CHP is currently working a traffic collision northbound I5 just north of Bridge Bay on Pit River Bridge with northbound lanes blocked. There’s a hard closure northbound at Fawndale turning vehicles around with no estimated time of opening. Drive with caution

The Redding Area CHP Office participated in the first Shasta County Special Olympics Polar Plunge at Whiskeytown Lake. The event helped raise money for Northern California Special Olympics. Special thanks to Officer Jason Morton for representing the Redding Area CHP Office.
