Another greenlight received for a new commercial small cell lung cancer study, our 5th commercial study to open within the last month! 👏🏽 We would like to say a huge thank you to Dr Rathbone (PI) for providing so many opportunities for our patients to take part in research! 💜

Another greenlight received! 🤩 We are now recruiting into a new commercial Graves’ Disease study, which aims to assess the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of a drug treatment. ⭐️ Dr Moisey will lead as PI, with the support of Lee-Ann and team.

The @CaPE_trial has now closed to recruitment at CHFT. CHFT was the highest recruiter regionally, and we were 8th highest out of 51 hospitals in the UK! Thank you so much to everyone involved, in particular our participants and Dr Fi Shamsudin (PI). Fabulous work team! 👏🏼🩷

Enrolment ready! ✨ The FEEL-GOOD study will recruit women with stress-predominant urinary incontinence. PI, Miss Yi Ling Chan (Urogynaecology Lead) and Co-I, Sarah Hill (Women’s Health Physiotherapist) have embedded this important study into their clinical practice.

Simon Bolton, Mesothelioma Clinical Nurse Specialist, was selected to present his study ‘Improving Research Access for Mesothelioma Patients’ to the Lung Cancer Nurse UK Annual Conference this week, and was the ‘Annual Award Winner’ for his poster. Excellent work Simon! 👏🏽🌟
