Everton’s players warming up at the MetLife Stadium ahead of their game with Bournemouth. With no Branthwaite, Tarkowski or Keane, there’s a hole to be filled at centre-back.
I've just updated this piece with a little addition on Everton interest in Malick Fofana of Olympique Lyonnais liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football…

A huge media room here at the MetLife Stadium but as our American cousins might say, being behind glass sucks. Even Crystal Palace tore their panes out a few years back. Not a good look in my view.
One of the issues of building an iconic waterfront stadium is that car parking can become a hot topic as Everton are finding but there are no such headaches here at the MetLife 🅿️
Sounds like Everton are now the biggest musical stadium act in New Jersey… eat your heart out Bruce Springsteen 🎵💙
It’s not Americans out here following Everton. This is Phil and Julie from Birkdale and they attended the events at the Turnmill on Thursday and Racket last night and loved both!

A couple of Blues fans from Pennsylvania. They tell me the MetLife is a terrible stadium and Everton should have gone to Philadelphia Eagles instead - a stadium designed by @Meisarch of course!

The pre-match party has already started for these Evertonians from Connecticut - the US state that actually based its flag on the Blues’ club crest 😉 (Google it and tell me they didn’t!)

I’ve arrived at the MetLife Stadium, host venue of the FIFA Club World Cup final earlier this month, next year’s World Cup final and NOT the biggest Everton v Bournemouth game I’ve been to!
