Electoral reform is desperately in Canada, and proportional representation is one of the ways it can be done. @FairVoteCanada has some amazing infographics and research regarding this.
The NDP has released the rules for the party's upcoming leadership race. As for timelines, it will end between March 22 and 29. Posted below is the deposit structure #cdnpoli #cdnelxn
Do you think we should get rid of first past the post voting? 🐎
The Toronto housing market is in complete turmoil. Just look at the difference in average home prices from 2022 to 2025. Nobody can take a 40% financial hit and walk away unscathed. Prepare for a brutal domino effect onto our economy, which is certain to happen.
Allegedly this is a video of the 14 year old suspected for murdering a 71 year old woman in Toronto, apparently confessing to the murder. Trying to understand whether or not we are looking at a new era of crime in Toronto, notable for its social media use and violent youth.
Democracy allows citizens the opportunity to represent their community. Pierre Poilievre, who is *not* a resident of Battle River-Crowfoot, is demanding that members of that community be limited in running to represent their own community. Ironic, anti-democratic, and pathetic.
Conservatives calling on the government to pass a law to end the longest ballot scam. See our letter.
The @LongestBallot Committee is one of the best examples of protesting to advance democracy done correctly. Nobody is harmed, the targeted system is only inconvenienced, and attention is brought to their cause. Electoral reform is needed and they're on the frontlines for it!

How will voters be confused? Do the Conservatives think that Canadians are too stupid to know the name of the party they want to vote? Do they think their own supporters are too illiterate to read "PIERRE POILIEVRE - CONSERVATIVE PARTY" to vote for him? Desperate and pathetic.

Pierre Poilievre, who is not a native of Battle River-Crowfoot, is now trying to have over 150 local candidates banned from participating in an election for their riding. This is to further the myth that, somehow, more candidates is worse for democracy and why he lost Carleton.

You know what would end the Longest Ballot Committee & would significantly improve Canadian democracy at the same time? Proportional Representation
