CAPAC leadership slams Trump administration for reducing access to multilingual services:

In the dead of night, Republicans passed their bill to claw back funding for public broadcasting and foreign assistance. North Carolinians rely on public broadcasting to stay safe during storms & much more. This bill will hurt vulnerable people – both at home and abroad.
Gotta celebrate the wins too. This time we prevented toll increases.
In the dead of night, House Republicans voted to cut a billion dollars from public broadcasting, slashing support for local NPR and PBS stations that millions rely on for life-saving public safety alerts, trusted news, and educational programming. They also gutted critical…
CAPAC Chair @RepGraceMeng denounces passage of Republican bill to defund Sesame Street, make America less safe:

1,000s of low-income seniors have been furloughed & entire communities are losing vital services because the Trump Admin has delayed the release of critical job training funds already approved by Congress. It's unacceptable. @RepJayapal and I sent a letter demanding answers &…
My bill with @RepThomasMassie has growing bipartisan support with 10 Republican sponsors. It’s time for us to vote on the bill today!

This administration’s reckless tariffs policies are causing havoc for businesses across the country, including those in WA-10. @RepStricklandWA shares what she has been hearing from businesses in her district.
Joint statement from CAPAC, CHC, and CBC condemning politically motivated attacks on nonprofit organizations:

This decision is shameful. The Department of Education protects Americans' civil rights and helps millions of our kids get the education they deserve. The Trump administration is abandoning our families and children.

Rogue House Republicans are showing their true colors. The hatred shown for people from backgrounds different than their own is racist, un-American, & insults the very constituents they swore an oath to represent. Silence is complicity. Get your house in order, @SpeakerJohnson.
