Joined the picket line at Brooklyn Housing Court this morning with my sisters and brothers from @UAWRegion9A @alaa2325 @clswu2325. These attorneys and paralegals do frontline work protecting my constituents from eviction and deportation. They deserve a living wage!

Management agreed to: ✅ A $68,500 wage floor for non-attorney/social worker staff setting the standard for legal service providers across NYC; ✅ Raises across the board for attorneys and social workers; ✅ Longevity differentials at step 8 and for every year thereafter. (2/3)
and now 2 years later, @BxDUnion began its strike for the first time in our Union’s history. on 6/16 management rejected our Union’s proposal. BxD failure to bargain in good faith has resulted in BxD Union filing a ULP charge & we’re currently on ULP strike. so proud of my Union

As we prepare to return to the bargaining table, our members are wondering why Management announced funding increases last week, only to turn around and claim it cannot counter our salary proposals due to lack of funds. Where's the money, BxD? Fair wages can't wait!
