Chadwell said he hopes the Liberty and James Madison series becomes a mainstay: "I think that will be great for our fan bases. It'll be great for our league playing against another G6 league that we get bunched in with as far as comparison. I think they are a great barometer."

Chadwell said he believes his staff has done a good job with this team of reinvigorating focus on making sure they don't allow the 'enemies within the tent' to hurt our program. "I think that's going to be the difference for us this year."

With roster turnover, new coaches and new schools, voting on a preseason poll would’ve been more difficult than it had ever been. Obviously, we’re not alone in that, but it’s a unique solution that we felt provides a better scope of our teams rather than a specific ranking.
