This is a great thread on some of the challenges that pop up in the FDE model. Not saying "You should not pursue an FDE model" - there are many cases where it's fantastic. But good to understand some of the complexities. Kudos to @BrendanFalk for the honesty + transparency!

LiveKit’s Cloud network that @davidzh and team built has no single-point-of-failure in the entire system. It’s resilient to node, region, and even entire cloud provider failures. An old but good read on all the details of our system design in the next post.
