My comic book series WULF & BATSY! The Adventures of a Ferocious Werewolf and a Cute Female Vampire as they wander the earth, looking for a place to call Home. 🐺🦇🩸 Where to get it: Website: bryanbaugh.net/wulf-and-batsy/ Print editions: cryptlogic.bigcartel.com Digital:…

I have wacky moments when I get inspired to write a whole fake “lost” chapter to this book, in the style of author Ron Ghoulart, explaining the morbid history of a long forgotten comic book series called Wulf & Batsy that was one of the most infamous Pre-Code Horror comics…
Revisiting this old friend today. GREAT HISTORY OF COMIC BOOKS 1890s-1980s By Ron Goulart. A whopping 314 pgs. Published 1986. Got this book when I was maybe 13? 14? yrs old & was shocked by the violence & sexiness in early comics. Here began my fascination with “the old stuff”!
UPDATE... OPEN CASKETS 1: Wulf & Batsy Full Color Art Book 1999-2024. Kickstarter funds received. Planning to place Print order, early next week. As I went through and finalized the page files I decided to add a few more new, previously unreleased images (I should have known…

Journalists look at this map and think "Millions at Risk!" I see it and think, "Oh, nice... That should give me and the kid a few more perfect days at the swimmin pool!"😂

Just home from a fun Daddy-Daughter Saturday. Starting with Swim Lessons (she did great in class today) followed by lunch at the Mexican place across the street (she loves the "super spicy salsa!"). Then nonstop 1980s hits on the drive home. My younger self never would have…
I find it hilarious (and sad) that modern Marvel stubbornly adheres to their “Hellfire Gala” version of X-Men as the “real” canon storyline - while treating “Elsewhen”, written & drawn by John Byrne, a man who helped define the X-Men in the first place, as a work of fan-fiction.
The print publication of John Byrne’s “X-Men: Elsewhen” comic series and the new line of 1978 Battlestar Galactica figures (in 3.75” and 12” scale) are the most exciting announcements (so far) to come out of SDCC 2025 if you ask me!

That’s a great analogy
Imagine walking into a murder scene and saying “Everything in the room explains everything in the room.” The bloody footprints explain the bloody footprints. The axe in the skull explains the axe in the skull. The broken table is explained by the broken table. That’s…

One of my favorite new Original Art Commissions I did recently, for a client. CYNTHIA, from DC Comics THE WITCHING HOUR! 🎃🧙♀️🕯️🌙 If YOU are interested in an original art commission, send me a DM to discuss your request!
I'm always open for ORIGINAL ART COMMISSIONS!! In fact, I would really like to take on a few more at this time because there are some stupidly overpriced Horror and Monster collectibles I want to buy on eBay! 😁💀🎃 Here's some recent samples of commissions I've done for clients…

I remember in summer 1997 when I was still trying to “break into the business” I took a Storyboard Clean Up Test for King of the Hill. (Back in the good old days when you could literally just call animation studios on the phone and ask to speak to a recruiter and then ask the…

No fair, @collectsideshow!!! I don’t even like Star Trek!! I thought my wallet would always be safe from collecting this one franchise!! But you had to go and make THE GORN didn’t you!! The ONE THING from Star Trek I actually love!! 💸💸💸😵

No. I asked them… Well actually a good friend asked them… We were in there together and my friend knows I’m not the pushy type. So he really talked me up and tried to impress on the shop owner how “popular” my book is “online” and that I’m a local artist and they should carry…
Does your shop support local comic creators by letting them come in to sell their art/manga/book or have big names come in for events like free comic book day?
Weird comic book fan confession: I was never a huge Captain America fan (although I respected him, his stories rarely grabbed me). However I was always fascinated by The Red Skull. One of my favorite Marvel villains. So while I did not collect Cap, I’d buy any issue of Cap with…
