The Republican Party want to gaslight the Democratic Party for being a party of pedifiles. I’m a former child abuse prosecutor and the majority of my offenders were Christian youth ministers. The Epstein files were a bunch of rich privileged Republican white men raping children.
Piece of advice, senator: keep your stupidity off social media and people might not realize you are a total moron, give you the benefit of a doubt.
Thanks to @DNIGabbard, we now have proof that Obama and his officials manufactured the Russian collusion hoax. This is why draining the swamp is more important than ever before.
James Brown.
Who is the one dead musician you wish you could have seen perform live? Freddy Mercury for me.
Fun fact: Republicans have always hated immigrants. These were all enacted by Republicans: the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882, the Immigration Act of 1924, the Undesirable Aliens Act of 1929, Operation Wetback (1954).
Do you think Trump has any idea what the Federal Open Market Committee is or what it does or who is on it?
Back when I was a conservative, this quotation from Lord Acton was widely known and repeated. Now, completely forgotten: "Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely."
The US Congress has handed over to the President its powers over spending & oversight (effectively dissolving itself); the Senate rubber stamps all the President’s appointees tossing out its “advise & consent” powers; the Supreme Court has granted “immunity” to the President
Republicans are extreme radicals; when in power they do extreme stuff. Democrats are moderates; in power they do moderate stuff. This means they never undo all the bad radical stuff Republicans do, so there is a steady ratchet toward Republican priorities over time.
In order to increase his power in the Senate, Trump plans to appoint an additional senator by executive order. Named Incitatus, nothing else is known about this new senator, whom Trump will also name Majority Leader. In leu of a state he will represent the White House itself.
I think I have found a solution to the AI crisis--good old-fashioned hard copies. Books with pages printed in ink can be trusted. Use them.
I suppose the Coldplay scandal could have been worse. It could have been Nickelback. Then the guy would have two things to be embarrassed about.
Here's a simple suggestion for Democrats: stop talking about policies your party supports that are unpopular with the American people and only talk about those that are popular. today.yougov.com/politics/artic…
I wish some Democrat would explain to me the political calculation for why so many Democrats in the Senate routinely vote to confirm Trump appointees? It is gold for someone to use against them in a primary, no conceivable upside.
Prediction: whatever show replaces Colbert will have considerably fewer viewers than he does and probably lose even more money.
