🧵 of some key returners for Tempe this season: 1. ‘26 EDGE Zihyon Walters. He holds a D-I offer from Columbia and 7 offers across D-II, D-III, & NAIA and has interest from more D-I FCS schools. Great frame at 6’5, 210 pounds and a solid 3.63 GPA. Looked good in the weight room.

3. ‘26 OL/DL Trent Wallace. One of the leaders of this Buffs team and really took command of the trenches group in the weight room. The coaching staff has big expectations for him this fall.

4. ‘26 QB Saul Mendez. Has been QB1 since his freshman year and has been the measuring stick and the leader for the growth of the program the past 3 seasons. Threw for over 2,200 yards and 26 TDs while rushing for 5 more TDs as the Buffs went 5-5 last season.

2. ‘26 LB Brooklen Curran (@BrooklenCurran). Just transferred in from Mesquite, where he recorded 52 total tackles and 4 TFLs as a junior last season. Really has hit the ground running in the weight room and is one of the strongest players on the team.
