For those that stopped watching Star Wars, what was the last straw? Was it any of these?
3 different styles. 3 different creators. 3 “mid” Superman movies.
Superman nitpicks… 16:9 aspect ratio felt more like a streaming show Not one moment when Superman saved Lois. She’s known for getting into a dangerous situation for her story. She barely felt like a reporter. No fun transformations from Clark to Superman! 3 out of 5 stars

The Rise of Skywalker and Ahsoka are my Star Wars guilty pleasures. Are they sloppy? Sure. But for me, they are so much fun thanks to the characters and their relationships.
Kylo was supposed to be Vaders arc, only opposite. More evil each film. JJ got cold feet for multiple reasons. Han and Leia’s only son dying evil wouldn’t sit right with audiences. Plus the “Reylo” movement clearly influenced him. Rian was actually sticking with JJ’s “plan.”

The effects changes in ESB Special Edition are fine. The dialog changes are atrocious!
I also think generally the ESB special edition is almost objectively better. You have the unnecessary Vader dialogue for the shuttle but also a lot of improvements from the Wampa, to Cloud City, to the Emperor, to the Battle of Hoth effects.
