I think after DK was redesigned it was a very real fear that Nintendo was trying to erase Rare’s DNA from the series Playing the game that fear just melts away. This is a love letter to the entire DK franchise. From the country games, to 64, to the original arcade and beyond.
I would if there was a single reason to own a PS5 beyond that one game I hope it comes to PC soon!
Instead of arguing which is better just play both, it’s allowed.
Little known fact about me is I absolutely love Street Fighter 2 Easily the best cast of fighting game characters ever (rivalled only by Darkstalkers) I really don’t buy much of this kinda stuff anymore but I had to have these.
Everyone is mad about Dragonite getting a mega but let’s face it every Gen 1 Pokemon is way better than every non Gen 1 Pokemon even if you don’t want to admit it. Yes, even Seel. Seel > Greninja Mr Mime > Lucario Krabby > Gardevoir Diglet > Garchomp
Gamefreak, that's the WRONG DRAGON TO GIVE A MEGA TO!!! Not that it is a bad design (I like how it looks more like Dragonair) but C'MON. We all know one dragon who DESPERATELY needs that Mega evolution.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land was a great game, maybe the best co op 3D platformer ever But let’s not pretend that Mario Odyssey isn’t WAY better.

After DK, I don’t see how any other 3D platformer can compete. 25 years ago Rare would innovate on Nintendo’s big hitters (Mario -> Banjo, Kart -> DKR etc). But there’s no one to top them now. Playtonic really needed to get that Yooka remake out BEFORE this game released.

His DK is very good. I think a lot of us take for granted how much a character’s voice can impact the enjoyment of a game. I almost live in dread of how painful a Martinet-less Mario Odyssey follow up will be on the ears.
Donkey Kong is voiced by Koji Takeda in Donkey Kong Bananza. He voiced Donkey Kong in both the Super Mario Bros. Movie (Japan) and in Mario Kart World.
I need @XboxP3 to do the right thing and donate the Banjo ip back to Nintendo. Get the DK Bananza team to make Banjo Threeie. For the good of mankind.
So Donkey Kong Bananza is probably the 2nd best game Nintendo has made in the last 40 years.
