It was good to open the Devonport Open Day today. First time in nearly two decades the dockyard and naval base has been open like this. Huge congratulations to the team behind this. A great day for families today and for the public tomorrow.

Really excited to launch our first Naval Base Open day tomorrow. Day 1 is for our workforce to bring their families into the Base & experience the amazing work we do. Day 2 provides an opportunity for the city to visit the base with a focus on STEM skills & future opportunity.
Today, our thoughts are with the RM Band Service & family of Musician Sophie Ward, who is laid to rest by the Corps Family & those close to her. A brave, dedicated & inspiring member of our Corps who is deeply missed. A difficult day for the Corps Family. God Bless you Sophie.

Busy day of meetings. I believe everyone needs a daily mindfulness moment. Short walk, etc. For me, lifting iron works. Mind/body/breathing/focus & the honesty of you either lift it, or not! Nice session today. Top set 170kg, warm down reps at 120. Lift. Back to work. Happy days!
