We are incredibly proud of our exceptional Y8 student, Leanne, who shines brightly every day! Her stunning artwork was selected to be featured in the Verse of the Year 2025–2026 poster, which will be displayed in our Trust schools. Well done, Leanne! #LetYourLightShine

We have set our Y7s and Y8s a Summer Reading Challenge. Completed booklets should be brought back to Form Tutors on the first day back in September. More information, PDF copies of the booklets, and the launch video, can be found on our website: brian-clarke.org/literacy/

It’s been a phenomenal year in the library! Over 17,000 books borrowed, and a special shoutout to our top 3 readers — together, they’ve checked out an incredible 560 books! #ReadingForPleasure

Thank you to our students for a joyous last day of term. They had a brilliant time playing on the inflatable activities, including tug of war, an obstacle course, a giant slide and football darts. #letyourlightshine✨ #TheBrianClarkeCode #lastdayofschool
These Year 8 students have achieved an impressive 600 cumulative points (positive points minus negative points) and have earned platinum badges. Mrs Ash presented them with their rewards earlier today. Well done! #TheBrianClarkeCode #Ambition #Excellence #LetYourLightShine

We have been truly spoiled today! Parents Manha & Asim have brought in this amazing cake for our staff. Thank you so much - such a kind gesture, and very much appreciated by everyone here. The cake is so beautiful that we didn't want to cut into it (but we managed it!) #thanks

A heart-warming Staff Fellowship gathering — so much to be grateful for as we near the end of a fantastic year! #community

We are delighted to publish our very first Ofsted report. The report is a testament to the dedication of staff, the support from parents and carers and the Cranmer Education Trust. Thank you to everyone. brian-clarke.org/ofsted

A big thank you to Oldham Athletic Community Trust (OACT) for allowing us to celebrate the National League play-off win in School! It was a very exciting afternoon and the students (and staff!) loved having their photo taken with the big trophy.

Today in collective worship, we reflected on the year and filled in gratitude slips — small notes of appreciation for those who’ve supported us through this wonderful journey. 💛 Thank you to everyone who’s made this year so special. #Gratitude #Community #Growth

Well done and congratulations to our staff team who took part in yesterday's Cranmer Games. Excellent shows in Rounders, Football and the Quiz saw them lifting the Staff Cranmer Games Cup! We're very proud of all; especially the teams who had to play through the heavy downpours!

Four of our new Year 7s have shown ambition by already completing their summer reading projects. We enjoyed reading their reflections on the book and can't wait to see their completed booklets in September!

Four of our Year 9 Footballers had a fantastic day at a 'Discover my Talent' Football Talent ID event at Curzon Ashton FC, The FA's regional talent team and coaches from ET7 (Ella Toone's academy) attended.

Incredibly proud of our Year 9 students who have been presenting their Bronze DofE experiences in their final lessons. Their inspiring expedition aim ideas and reflections have exceeded all expectations — hearing what this journey has meant to them has been truly heart-warming .

Temperatures will reach 28 degrees tomorrow, so students can wear their PE kit into school. Remember your water bottles and stay hydrated!
