That @nytimes editorial board non-endorsement for mayor was bizarre.
Veteran photographer Michael Nigro was shot in the head with a non-lethal bullet while covering anti-ICE protests in LA. "It felt very very intentional," Nigro tells NPR, "a chilling effect to convince us to go away." Other reporters say they have been targeted too. 1/2

A TV reporter in Kansas City, @JessMcMasterKC, hears that cops raided a tiny newspaper 2 hrs away from her. The police chief who oversaw the raids had just left Kansas City PD under questionable circumstances. So she heads to Marion to see what she can find out. Link ⬇️
