Always a pleasure to take these talks (and interactive dance demos!) on the road - thanks for having me, Little Heath School, via the Scientists in Schools outreach program!

Grateful to have had the opportunity to give this year's Selma Jeanne Cohen Dance Lecture and interactive dance demo - if you have a chance to watch it, I'd love to hear your thoughts! youtube.com/watch?v=etdNQc…
Thrilled to be giving this lecture / interactive dance demo in Washington DC next week as part of @FulbrightPrgrm's annual conference! ✨ fulbright.org/2024/10/09/202…
Had a great time presenting our new paper at the @OxPsychiatry Head of Department meeting this afternoon; check it out here! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/mh…

Social dance & movement: what do we know about the mental health benefits, and what further research should be conducted? The first first-author publication of my PhD with dream team @BrianaApplewhi1 @J_EJ_Buckman @OxfordPERL @SusieMurphy is now online! doi.org/10.1002/mhs2.62
Urban Mental Health x EACLIPT conference: I’d love to talk to you about social learning, social dance, and mental health - please come visit our posters (#8 & #9)! #UrbanMentalHealth #eaclipt #icoumh #UMH_UvA @Urbanmental @eaclipt @Mental_Elf @OxPsychiatry @OxfordPERL

Congratulations @andreearaslescu, Anutra Guru, Jae-Young Park, @SusieMurphy, and @OxfordPERL - excited to see this in print!

Thrilled to share that my Fulbright Brazil research on capoeira and empathy has been published today - incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to this work, and stay tuned for the version in Portuguese coming soon! sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
New preprint of a vintage study: I finally had a chance to wrap up the manuscript from my 2019 Fulbright research towards the end of last year. I'm especially grateful to everyone that made a study of this scale and nature possible! osf.io/6v4xp #Fulbright #CAPES

I'm thrilled to have been recommended for transfer of status with no reservations - on to being a doctoral candidate! 🎉 Research takes a village and I'd just like to take this moment to express gratitude for mine 🥰

We’ve been enjoying many public engagement opportunities recently - here’s @BrennanDelattre giving a career talk on her research and the path to becoming a research scientist to bright young sixth-formers with lots of interesting questions! 🧠
Come join us - new RA post in PERL
Job alert! We have a Research Assistant position available in @OxfordPERL Please re-tweet and flag to anyone who might be interested. my.corehr.com/pls/uoxrecruit…
COGNITIVE TASK FRIENDS: does anyone have any resources, guidance, courses etc on (formally or informally) doing task validation checks or studies? Reliability, validity etc. Thank you! 🙏
Thanks to @WolfsonCollege for a lovely profile on my doctoral work & the story of how I came to study cooperative-based movement activities for mental health at @UniofOxford @OxPsychiatry! I'm almost a year in, & it still feels surreal in the very best way ✨

Writing a lit review, & this is just to say that every time I read "elderly" in reference to participants, I hear @SusieMurphy saying "you mean individuals with *lived experience of aging*" & while she was joking, I think we need to start a terminology redefinition movement 😆
It was an emotion-filled (and very happy!) day at @OxHealthBRC Open Day with @OxfordPERL yesterday - already looking forward to our next public engagement event!

Come join us at @OxHealthBRC Open Day in Westgate! We’ve got plenty of science games and even more balloons 😊🎈
New preprint! My MSc dissertation last year with Brian Parkinson and @daniellemshore examined the role of support strategy and other moderating factors on supporters' emotional exhaustion in the context of online support provision: psyarxiv.com/w7vez
Happy to be starting a (free!) Introduction to Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis @coursera course from @JohnsHopkinsSPH today; thanks @J_EJ_Buckman for the recommendation 😊 In case anyone else would find it useful to join: gb.coursera.org/learn/systemat…
