This Memorial Day, we pause in remembrance of those who gave their lives in service to our country.

Building on the proven success of Stretch for automated container unloading, @DHLGlobal is paving the way for the global deployment of more than 1,000 additional robots. Learn how DHL is accelerating their automation strategy: bosdyn.co/43r1Gtc
A surprise guest at Intel Foundry #DirectConnect – Chip, an autonomous robot dog specializing in sensing, paired with AI/ML insights that help keep our fabs efficient. Intel Foundry’s fleet of robots uses thermal, acoustic and image processing to cover 16 different inspections.
We’re joining @MakeAWishMassrRI in celebrating #WorldWishDay! Learn about the many ways you can get involved as a WishMaker to help grant wishes for kids with critical illnesses: massri.wish.org/wwm.

How does @BostonDynamics’ robot dog Spot walk on oobleck without sinking? Oobleck is a non-Newtonian fluid, meaning it acts like a solid under pressure. Spot’s constant motion creates enough force to keep it above the surface, unlike a still kettlebell, which sinks.
Atlas is demonstrating reinforcement learning policies developed using a motion capture suit. This demonstration was developed in partnership with Boston Dynamics and @rai_inst.
Using reinforcement learning, we trained policies for @BostonDynamics Spot that allow the robot to achieve record running speeds of 11.5 mph (5.2 m/s) — over three times faster than Spot's default max speed.

“Our collaboration with the @rai_inst brings together two of the world’s leading robotics organizations to help accelerate core capabilities needed to make robots like Atlas a valuable tool in people’s lives.” - Robert Playter, CEO of Boston Dynamics bosdyn.co/4aMdlox
Wishing you a holiday season full of light and laughter as we flip over into the new year!
Why build a humanoid robot? Because the world is designed for humans, including all the best Halloween costumes!
Atlas is autonomously moving engine covers between supplier containers and a mobile sequencing dolly, using ML to detect and localize the environment fixtures and individual bin. There are no prescribed or teleoperated movements. youtu.be/F_7IPm7f1vI
