Had an unexpected surprise yesterday afternoon…. My son in Texas had arranged for a lovely pedestal fan to be sent to us. How kind!
Feeling miserable today, son number 2 is heading back to Texas after the funeral.😒

Sad day today. It’s my dear brother in laws funeral. A celebration of a life well lived.

Tried growing runner beans for the first time this year. Tonight we ate the first of our little crop! They were delicious!! 😊
Busy day for us today! Bill has an early golf match. I’m waiting for the fitters to come to give us a new front door. I’ve already changed the bed and it’s been washed and on the line. Quick coffee in the garden then to feed the plants. Looks like another lovely day for all.
After a cloudy start it really got hot! We sat in the garden with the dog, and a chicken joined us.
Off to the farm today. So far a perfect temperature but due to get very hot.
Not quite 8am and already I’m having a coffee sitting in the sunshine before going to the pool for a swim! Best art of the day!
My dear brother in law died on Tuesday night after a long fight with pneumonia. As a family we are devastated. RIP Colin.💔💔
