I spent many happy days in Izhevsk. This is a city where I learned Udmurt and where many of my friends live. I was hoping to come back often. This strike painfully reminds me how our lives got ripped apart. How I hate Putin, I can't even begin to tell you.
Nothing more beautiful than seeing our majestic Ukrainian made drones destroying russian weapons plants, the Kupol factory in Izhevsk was over 1300KM from Ukraine, it produced air defense systems and radars, well... used too 😁🔥
Next Friday I'll be the guest of Estonian State Radio Vikerraadio's Friday interview (Reedene intervjuu) with @mmm_merilin! Tune in on 1 August at 14:05! We'll discuss Finno-Ugric stuff, Hungary, and my Estonia experience. Estonians, is there a topic you'd like us to touch on?

bye Orbán
💥Hungarian diplomat Mihály András Beke, who served Orbán’s gov't in Romania until recently, tore up his Fidesz party membership card on camera—breaking with the regime in a symbolic move. He said Orbán’s support for Romania’s far-right leader, George Simion, was the last straw.
man I wonder how they ended up "in Russia"
Did you know over 190 nationalities and ethnic groups live in Russia?
I thoroughly enjoyed this year's Laulupidu. Which is great because in 2019 I thoroughly suffered through it. In the cathartic crowd of thousands I realized my life in Hungary was a dead end and I wanna move. 6 years later, settled and thriving, I feel like part of the party. :)

banning Pride was a great idea wasn't it
💥🏳️🌈 Viktor Orbán banned Budapest Pride by law but didn’t dare use police to stop it. The result? A record-breaking crowd: the front of the march reached the end point in Buda while the back had barely left the start in Pest. 📸: Gábor Tenczer, Balázs Ivándi-Szabó @Telexhu
Some pics from the Finno-Ugric Film Festival's 48h workshop. This weekend produced 5 brand new Finno-Ugric short films, inlcuding the first in Viru dialect, and the first 3D Seto-language film. My heart is full of gratitude towards the crews and the locals for letting them in. 💕
