With all of this multi frame generation nonsense reviewers will need to switch to input-to-photon (end-to-end!) latency for specific actions like gun fire & mouse movement because framerate or time-per-frame or whatever other metric you like is just meaningless now.

Framerates (even frame times) as a measurement of smoothness are a lie. I'm playing a bunch of recent titles that all feel laggy, stuttery and awful even though the "fps" is high. Measured input latency on one of them using LDAT. It has 60+ms of latency at 90fps. Unacceptable

Would be great if @visualc / @VisualStudio would maybe not break everyone's shortcuts because they are integrating the unreal plugin to the IDE. 17.12 breaks ctrl-F7 since it conflicts with the unreal 'compileSingleFile' shortcut.

As much as I love @ZOWIEbyBenQ mice, Their customer support turns out to be absolutely awful. Been trying to RMA an EC2 CW (broken mouse wheel) for nearly 3 weeks now but their support just ghosting me. How hard is it to issue an RMA?

Man the replacement for the Google assistant is really fucking useless. It's constantly giving me wrong information for basic things that used to work before (time, measurement conversions, weather, etc) I swear the enshittification seems to be intentional at this point.

Since when do routers have antivirus?! Been struggling with insane jitter in CS2 for months and it turns out its the anti-virus (???) on my tp-link router causing massive jitter and spikes. I can literally make jitter appear/disappear in realtime by toggling "HomeCare" on/off.

Flying out to Montreal today to visit some friends on the weekend. My week is pretty light so if any MTL friends/mutuals wanna hang out let me know.

After the South of Midnight trailer, I'm seeing a bunch of folks now trying to copy the effect. I really hope this is not a trend as that effect makes me physically ill. I get motion sickness easily and there's something about that effect that's triggering it for me.
