Sixty years ago today, after being set up on a blind date by Buddy Hackett, Bob Newhart married Virginia Quinn on January 12, 1963. In honor of this amazing milestone, we wanted to share some of our favorite photos.
David Davis passed away a few days ago. He, along with myself & Lorenzo Music, created the Bob Newhart Show. We decided to make Bob Hartley a Psychologist vs a Psychiatrist, since Psychiatrists deal with more serious conditions. He was a great guy will be greatly missed!
I just received word that the Executive Producer of Newhart, Stephen Grossman passed away. Stephen was an amazing father & husband, a wonderful human as well as top notch Producer. We send our love to his wife Joannie & his entire family - we will miss him dearly & are so sad.

I had the honor of working with Betty White on my series BOB & the finale of Hot in Cleveland. She was such a pro! My 1st standup TV appearance was April 1960 on Jack Paar & Betty was a guest. Today, we lost a giant.
I knew that Peter was sick, but his death comes as a great shock. We were friends for over 40 years. Julia and Peter were an essential part of the success of "Newhart." He was a fantastic person & a joy to work with. He will be sorely missed, his passing at 66 is way too early.
