It might be too early to say but I think Ultimate Venom is gonna wind up being something that doesn’t make sense in the story and is only done for fan service and a numbers boost.

It’s not even an argument about the name, it’s the fact that Lethal Protector Venom only exists when it’s Eddie.
Mac: rode the coattails of the cred that he got by being Venom Flash: wanted to be called Spider-Man Lee: used the symbiote as a tool to get what he wanted
