So lovely to hear a Willow Warbler out our back garden this morning. Whilst they're one of Irelands most common summer visitors, they're a very rare visitor to our garden in the suburbs of Limerick. Here's a photo of one from our @BirdWatchIE outing to Doon last April 💚

A rather quiet Clogheen CES 8 with virtually no bird song. Felt rather like some adult birds have already left! Still managed to catch 49 birds. Highlights were two very contrasting male Swallow, 3 juvenile Bullfinch, a Mallard and a Water Rail @NPWSIreland @_BTO @BirdWatchIE

A Puffin sees another seabird in St. Stephen's Green. We at @BirdWatchIE had a very successful launch of our Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas for seabirds in Ireland today. Our human sized Puffin won the hearts of adults and kids. @BirdLife_News @BirdLifeEurope
