The Billerica girls 4x800 placed 5th at the New England Championship in a season best time of 9:24! The underclassmen relay of SO Gianna McGowan (2:21), 8th grader Evie Wesling (2:22), FR Caity Donahue (2:21) and FR Kylie Donahue (2:18) ran the 2nd fastest time in school history



What a finish for Nyrah Joseph! In her final meet as a BMHS athlete, Nyrah won the Massachusetts Hepathlon! Amazing high school career for this standout senior, who will continue to impress next year at UMass Lowell.



The boys 4x800 team of Shane Leslie, Sahil Gandhi, Devin Morrow and Mason Niles ran 8:20, placing 20th overall.




After placing 4th in the 2 mile in 10:56 on Thursday, freshman Kylie Donahue ran a 5:03 one mile for 12th overall at the Meet of Champions!


At Day 2 of the MIAA Meet of Champions, the boys ran incredible 1 miles! Shane Leslie broke his brother Ryan’s school record (that Ryan broke in 1978 from Jeff Cullinane) by running a 4:12.63 for 3rd overall!! Mason Niles broke his own freshman record running 4:17.07 for 9th!!




The 4x400 team of Caroline Richmond, Leila Diaz, Maya Niles and Greta Drozdov Armendia placed first in the 4x400 with a new record time of 4:24! The girls won by 8 seconds!




In the 2 mile, FR Caity Donahue won her heat by 14 seconds in a PR of 11:08.50! Her time was 10th overall. In the seeded heat, SO Hartlie Siegal ran a great race in the heat (85!) to place 14th in 11:14! FR Kylie Donahue ran an incredible race to PR and place 4th in 10:56!!




Junior Shane Leslie placed 13th in the 800 meters, running 1:57.15. Shane will compete in the mile with teammate Mason Niles. The two will then join Sahil Gandhi and Devin Morrow in the 4x800 meter relay.

At the MIAA Meet of Champions on Thursday in Fitchburg, the day before she graduated from BMHS, senior Nyrah Joseph defended her state title in the pentathlon and broke her own meet record with 3378 points!!
