1. We don’t know that. He’s not said a word about his future in recent months. 2. No.
Bill, we all know Snit will probably retire at season’s end. Do you think there’s any chance he’ll say the heck with it and leave early?
STOP blaming Liberty Media. They are out. This is an independent company run by Terry McGuirk. Fans need to point the finger at the culprit, and it is no longer Liberty Media. Terry McGuirk is, unfortunately, in charge of this company that owns the #Braves.
I’ve been worried about the Braves since 2023 in total so this isn’t new to me … As long as liberty Media is lat the helm this team will be middle of the road at best
Atlanta #Braves Opening Day Roster: 11 of the 26 who were on the opening day roster are not currently on the roster – that number will increase this week with the trade deadline. Gone from organization (4): Chadwick Tromp, Orlando Arcia, Bryan de la Cruz, Hector Neris Injured…
Bryce Elder - #Braves starter 2025- 4-7 - 6.29 - 17 GS - 106-87.1 61 ER - 35 BB - 73 K Since the start of the 2024 season: 6-12 - 6.37 - 27 GS - 170-137.0 - 97 ER - 52 BB - 119 K Since the ASG in 2023: 11-14 - 5.95 - 40 GS Before the ASG in 2023: 9-6 - 3.04 - 28 G - 27 GS
The last time Grant Holmes pitched more than the 115.0 innings he pitched this season – 2017 in AA for the A’s. His previous high since then was 109.1 pitched between Gwinnett & Atlanta last season. #Braves 2025- 115.0 2024- 109.1 2023- 61.0 2022- 40.2 2021- 66.1 2019- 86.1…
Cam Caminiti turns 19 on August 8. Two years from now, on July 27, 2027, he will be only 20. Can he get two FULL seasons in the minor leagues before we put him in Atlanta’s rotation?
Cam is still only 19 (has looked fantastic though) so I doubt he’ll make a start before September. Owen Murphy just made his first start post TJ (which looked fairly good) so the next 2 months will be important for him, but I’d think he’s going on the lower half of the list
Saturday night, Gwinnett pitcher JR Ritchie had gone 5.1 shutout innings. He gave up a double. The pitching coach then visited. Then on a 2-2 count, Ritchie hit the next batter. He was at 73 pitches. And they took him out. WHY? How is Ritchie going to learn to get out of…
Old man vent here. There is nothing that has changed baseball (for the worse) more than the deterioration of pitching. It’s awful. It’s not just the #Braves. It’s the sport. Rushing pitchers is moronic. Overprotecting pitchers with pitch limits and inning limits has not…

HE’S 18 YEARS OLD.
2028/2029? 🤣 He’s already lighting up single-A. The only issue is gonna be innings, but he’ll def get a taste before 2028
Cam Caminiti has not even turned 19 years old yet. Are you kidding? Maybe the 2028 (or better yet 2029) radar after two (or three) more full seasons. Not 2026. Stop rushing these pitchers.
Not saying early in the season but by the end of the yr both can be options. And, would you want to block either by signing a vet to a long term deal? You roll with those internal options u mentioned bc they’ve shown to be really good when healthy & the other guys are 1 yr closer
No, I didn’t. Owen Murphy needs a full season under his belt. Cam? Caminiti? You’re joking, right? What the hell is it with people wanting to rush pitchers? Is it working? Ugh, no. Hell, no.
You forgot Owen Murphy, maybe Cam. And btw, I’m still not worried
I’d certainly listen This organization is in trouble.
This is why you trade him now
That’s an incorrect statement I made? He was hurt and unable to finish the 2024 season. He’s hurt now with a broken rib. He stayed on the IL with the Red Sox. He’s a tremendous talent WHEN healthy. At 37 and considering the history, it is a concern.
Sale can’t stay off the IL? His Cy Young Award would like a word.
Innings in minor leagues before their MLB debut: Tom Glavine - 546.1 IP John Smoltz - 377.1 IP JR Ritchie - 169.0 innings Hurston Waldrep - 84.1 IP before his 2024 MLB debut Huston Waldrep NOW - 207.1 IP
Ritchie and Waldrep - HAVE to give them a real shot like Glavine and Smoltz in 88
From last month. MLB can't keep its pitchers healthy.
Major League Baseball faces epidemic with pitcher injuries. Please read my column in the Savannah Morning News. savannahnow.com/story/sports/m…
You forgot that will happen AFTER the 2026 season, not before.
Not worried at all. Ya’ll forgetting something really important. Lock out
