Go JUCO. Absolutely a great option for developing players. Great talent. Smaller rosters than sub D1 programs. Coaches play deep trying to get their kids seen. Play sooner. Walk with a degree. Get 2nd degree from traditional school next stop. That’s the narrative!
After fours years at the D1 level, I forgot how dismissive kids are towards junior college coaches 😬… We gotta change the narrative. Too many kids taking lesser opportunities because of some weird stigma they have towards attending junior college.
The difference in quality at some of those levels is small and subjective in many cases. All great hoops options if kids want to keep playing.
Coaches, players, agents, handlers, etc. If you’re a 2025, STOP 🛑 saying you’re only interested in D1s. The entire team is already on campus working. You’re still at home. Even if you sign D1, you probably won’t play. Go JUCO, Go D2, Go D3, Go NAIA. They’re all amazing.

Had a college recruiter tell me Region9 didn’t have any guys in it. #1 overall and quick count there was 8-9 guys in top 150. I think that speaks pretty well. Even couple D1 kids from R9 that didn’t make it. #gojuco #region9hoops
