A storm producing frequent lightning is taking aim at Washington County.
Heads up, Newport Folk Festival! A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is moving in from the northwest and should be arriving within the next 15-30 minutes. Expect frequent lightning, torrential rain, and gusty winds.
Keep an eye on the radar later this afternoon as a line of strong to severe thunderstorms develops. The concern with these storms is the potential of localized flooding during the evening commute and possibly damaging wind gusts.
