It’s official...our severe weather season has kicked off with Canada’s 1st tornado of 2025 confirmed in southern AB over the weekend. The April 12th landspout is the earliest confirmed 🌪️ in AB since 1980, and one of only 11 to occur in the month of April! #abstorm
So, this would be devastating. The function of weather forecasting requires climate data stored at these regional centers. Not to mention intentionally degrading satellites will stagnate progress on our research and understand of weather. Call your congressional representatives.
