I came for the Signal, but stayed for the Noise. "If you think you understand quantum mechanics, you don't understand quantum mechanics." -Richard Feynman
I recently updates from Pete on the progress our friends at @PsiQuantum are making on their large scale quantum computer. If what they say is accurate, the future is bright indeed! Many updates were shared in this slick video: 0:00-2:07 - Updates 2:07-3:11 - Inspirational
There's a lot of noise out there.
Want to try some of the circuits from @qBitTensor's #sn63, but not ready to setup a miner? We've generated a number of sample circuits for you to cut-your-teeth on. Figure out how to crush it, then launch a miner when you are ready: github.com/qbittensor-lab…
Shout out to our friends at @rigetti for this big news. Some may say that these errors are still way too high for two-qubit operations (and they aren't wrong) but every time we cut the error rates on physical qbts, we shorten the path to large scale logical qbts! Congrats!
Today we announced that we’ve demonstrated the industry’s largest multi-chip quantum computer and halved our 2Q error rate with our modular 36Q system. We look forward to sharing more updates when we release our operating results for Q2 2025! globenewswire.com/news-release/2…
Today, qBitTensor Labs proudly launches the Quantum Subnet on Bittensor’s Subnet 63 - our first step toward bringing quantum computing into a decentralized, open-source network. Your support has been nothing short of extraordinary. This community hasn’t just embraced the concept…
