I am so proud of my mom who has been an RN for 40 years, went back for a masters in her 50s, started doing research, and is presenting a poster at a conference for the first time today. I hope I also keep doing new things when I am 62!

Funny story about this one, omw to the conference I forgot my poster in the bus. After a day of scavenger hunting, I found my poster, presented it, and won the poster prize. What a great recovery. Thank you @ChemicalScience @DaltonTrans @ChemCommun for sponsoring the prize

My CV is forever altered by the impact of catching covid in early 2020 (likely on a trip to present at a conference). I am mostly at peace with this now. But I’m not at peace with how academia still pretends we are not forever altered by the pandemic & concomitant crises.
