Hopeless Romantic-Words are My Keepsake
“Round Here” by Counting Crows Listening now..is there any body with me?
A clash of ever ending arms. On the street, of downtown Modesto,Ca. Outside of FatCat. Who would’ve ever known? A love sure to fall. Greeting each other with a kiss, longish and heavy..usher themselves into a cab of the rest of their lives.. #WritingCommmunity #vss365
A gleeful greeting. And far from a good night..he gathers her in his rapturing arms. The world did its very best to keep them apart, but failed in its most vulnerable moment. This is not fate..it is time. Big, HUGE, difference. He’s not going to let this one go. Ever #vss365
He’s only 5’ 7. A face protruding among the others is a very slim chance. But a smile from him apparently stands 6’ 7 well and beyond every one among him. The arms reaching for her..no comparison. As she jumps ever ending in his arms; he can’t beyond reason understand why #vss365
Six rows down and up looking at taxi’s he spots it. That exact one. Thankfully he caught her; refusing to get in a taxi pointing. Ha? She’s pointing, laughing, smiling, lightly, shoving her friends in the taxi. Running at, among a flood of people, towards him. Movie #vss365
A dizzying Sudden wave May be Love #@7wordspoet #writing #vss365

She is shuffled out, by her friends. Almost in a taxi she’s screaming in her mind, screeching, looking back at the entrance. Just at that moment, a brief lapse of time she sees him. His head and body frantically glancing back and forth. Almost like swimming #writing #vss365
The blood threshing through his veins. He goes back to the bar. Glancing back and forth his tensions rise ten fold. The clearing out of the place is just beginning. Regular lights show above him..way harder to find someone familiar at this point #WriterCommunity #vss365
She heads to the bar. A natural landmark. He did mention he was a Marine. She’s trying everything in her rolodex. She even waits outside the men’s restroom for a moment. Then she hears..last call. Her heart thudded over those speakers.. @THCountzWrites #WriterCommunity #vss365
Enduring By microseconds A love Outlasts Everyone #7wordspoet #vss365
Lights. Probing and disco alike among the dance floor With arms upraised, lights, and music forever throbbing That of which was once his friend, is now his mortal enemy The strobe and corrugated gleam on the floor now dazzles and annihilates Every hope #vss365
He. And he alone. Must find not only a face that he was separated from, but a connection. As if his an extension of his heart. A seriously vital piece was missing. Something, somehow, this part gone. A vow was made. He lost it long ago..but he won’t let it go again #vss365
Drafting and sucking down a smoke with her friend, meant to calm her down, it only enhances her anxiety. She leaves her..explicitly saying “It’s just a guy” her friends words drowned out amongst a crowded corridor..faces. Tall and arduous this obstacle she must overtake #vss365
Buzzed and certain..she borrowed a drag from a cigarette and chased after. Only to find her friend front first. “Now I know where you’ve been” she says with a grin. Admonished, she succumbs to her friend beckoning for a smoke “Let’s have one,” #vss365
The chain of conversation of which he tried to build. Through dances, a mere chance at the bar, and finally at the patio. Block by block it was building. His friend, unknowingly, seemingly, to that laid waste. But through lights, faces, he still sought her #vss365
