To me, Shadow is clearly presented as a lone wolf here that just bumps into Team Sonic. I don't think he's being shoved into the team or replacing Amy He just crosses paths with them and decides to work with them in this situation. This is exactly how Shadow should be imo lol

The way I see it Team Sonic represents an alliance between Sonic and Knuckles Team Rose represents Amy getting her own comrades and becoming an equal to Sonic Ofc these shouldn't be strict groupings. But there's something cool about these teams to me

Y’know I’m seeing people being concerned that Shadow’s hogging the spotlight from other Sonic characters and once again I think to myself “…IS he?” Cuz I honestly didn’t think one recent collab animation he appears in would set some people off about that.

The Shadow hate is kind of absurd. Like why the sudden change? Shadow is the second most popular character in the franchise (after Sonic), of course they’re going to use him for marketing. ESPECIALLY since his popularity is sky rocketing. Like, that’s just how business works…
