Yesterday was the 25th Anniversary of Susan's and my wedding. We laid a wreath on her grave by way of remembrance. The ribbon reads "Darling, 25 years and it seems like yesterday. Sleep well beloved".

That's clearly not the case. Once the empire was ended, England was still over 99% native. The influx of foreigners has come from recent mass migration in the last 40 years.

Nationalism keeps telling us Christians to take up our swords and make our nation "Christian" by any means necessary. Jesus keeps calling us Christians to take up our crosses and be like him, serving the world through grace, humility, compassion, and self sacrificial love.
